WLU has over 300 members, including private and government attorneys, judges, in-house counsel, solo practitioners, retired attorneys, law students, and partners and associates in large and small firms. Membership in WLU is open to any lawyer, any graduate of an accredited law school and any student attending an accredited law school.

As stated succinctly by the National Conference of Women’s Bar Associations: “To be successful, every attorney must build a network. Joining a women's bar can jumpstart this process.
