We look forward to seeing you at The Lodges at Deer Valley this year! Our keynote speaker on Friday afternoon will be Beth Noymer Levine presenting "Girl Talk," a workshop on effective communication for business development. Ms. Levine worked in public relations and corporate communications in New York and Atlanta, prior to establishing SmartMouth Communications in Salt Lake City. Cindy Marteney of the Marteney Group will speak at the Saturday morning session about branding for business development. Ms. Marteney is a marketing adviser and executive trainer who founded her own company in Park City several years ago.

Not only does the retreat provide an opportunity to obtain CLE credits, but it is also a great opportunity to relax, catch up with old friends, and meet new ones. We'll enjoy great company, great food, and a great place to spend the night. Full registration includes both sessions and meals; alternatively, participants may register for either of the two sessions independently. CLE credit is pending (approximately 4 hours).

Women Lawyers of Utah Annual Mentoring Event - "Dress for Success"

Please join us next Friday for an exciting and educational evening focused on how women can present themselves professionally, build mentoring relationships and help other women in need.

Enjoy hors d'oeuvres, drinks, and boutique browsing while you meet other women in the legal profession, sign up for mentoring, donate clothing to Women Helping Women, and learn about dressing professionally.

• At 6 pm, Alicia Richmond will host a presentation and question & answer session. Alicia is the founder of Chic on a Shoestring (http://www.chiconashoestring.com) and a style and wardrobe consultant with her own fashion segment on ABC 4's Good Things Utah and 101.9 The End's The Chunga Show. You can email questions in advance to kprzybyla@stoel.com. (CLE credit pending approval.)
• Professional wardrobe consultants, vendors, and mentors will be available throughout the evening to answer questions and provide advice about dressing and presenting yourself professionally in the legal community.
• Bring your wallet! Boutique vendors will have products to purchase. Confirmed vendors are Heel (http://heelparty.com), a traveling shoe boutique that carries department store footwear at lower prices, and Shade Clothing (http://www.shadeclothing.com), a hip, modest clothing line with designs that allow women to expand their wardrobe options. Other vendors to be announced. Some will be donating products or a portion of any proceeds to Women Helping Women or another charitable organization.
• Please bring gently-used professional wardrobe items to donate to Women Helping Women, a Junior League project dedicated to providing professional clothing to women entering the workforce while in transition towards self-sufficiency.
• Sign up and learn how to be a mentor or mentee. More information about forming successful mentoring relationships will be provided and discussed. If you can't attend, please sign up in advance!

Cost: Free for members & law students. Free for non-members with a clothing or financial donation to Women Helping Women. Parking at One Utah Center (entrance on 200 S. between Main and State) will be validated.
